Your tour begins when you meet your guide in Sedona and strap yourself into a trusty Jeep for a wild desert adventure. When everyone is settled, ascend a 100-year-old wagon trail to the edge of the Colorado Plateau, and cruise along Bear Wallow Canyon, taking in mesmerizing views of red rock cliffs juxtaposed with winding highways.

As you climb 2,000 feet (607 meters) in elevation toward the peak of Mogollon Rim, you'll see three contrasting ecological zones that your guide will explain in captivating detail. Marvel at the natural diversity that makes Arizona such a special part of the country, including natural landmarks like iconic Snoopy Rock, Merry-Go-Round Rock, Munds Mountain Wilderness and Mitten Ridge Wilson Mountain.

Originally I checked out the pink Jeep tours online but it was going to be $500 for our group of 4 so I explored other options. I found Jeep safari for half the price. The biggest difference I saw online was the trail was Mogollon rim verses broken arrow. I have already seen the broken arrow trail so I figured Mogollon rim would be great to explore this time. It was breath taking views with just as much excitement with the rock climbing as broken arrow. We had the best tour guide and Jeep driver Joe! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the rock formations, plants (regarding History of their medicinal uses), and other scenic adventures to check out in the area! We got to experience the new Jeep gladiator and all its bells and whistles including the awesome suspension system. Recommendations would include using the restroom before arrival because due to Covid they closed their bathrooms. They provided us with cold waters. For the most part you will be in the shade with the canopy from the Jeep but sunscreen is not a bad idea. At the end of the Jeep trail we got out and did a super short hike just up onto a scenic viewpoint. Joe was so kind to take photos of our family at some of these beautiful views. We also got to see the energy of the vortex while up there. We were all very happy with the experience. If you do not like a bumpy ride, I suggest sitting closer towards the front as it makes a huge difference the front vs the back.

We had such a great time with our Jeep tour!! We had Jeff as our driver and he did an awesome job!! Before we took off, Jeff asked us what we were wanting out of the tour and he customized our ride based off of what we told him we wanted. He took us to some awesome places and made sure we were still safe along the way! I would highly recommended and am looking forward to returning (and definitely will ask for Jeff as the driver again). Way better than Pink Jeep!

We had a wonderful experience, thanks to our awesome tour guide Deven. He made sure that our nervous 5yr old felt safe, and that our thrill-seeking 8yr old had lots of fun. He was also a fantastic photographer. This tour was a great way to see all the beauty that Sedona has to offer, as well as learn about its history. Our family almost spent $100 more for a similar tour with their pink competitor, but we are so happy we chose Arizona Safari. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
