Loved our 2 hr snorkeling trip to Molokini. Captain Jonathan was very professional and we appreciated the fact that we were the first boat there in the morning thereby ensuring us a great mooring. Would reccommend this trip to friends and family.

So let me start by saying that I am not a swimmer and while looking for snorkeling tours, I was very thorough in reading the guidelines and provisions before booking the tour. As we (a group of 4) reached the boat landing, we informed Jonathan that 2 of us were non swimmers and asked if he would give us a life vest. (as mentioned on their page) To which he replied that they didn't have a life vest and they would provide us with a noodle to float. I mentioned to him that since its a really deep site, i will not be comfortable with a noodle and needed a life vest, to which he replied "its okay, if you feel uncomfortable you don't need to jump in the water, just take the boat ride and dip your feet in water" 1. As mentioned on your page, you claim that even first time snorkelers can do this yet there was no effort to establish that, when we reached. 2. I did not pay all this money to travel on a boat ride and come back. As we reached the site, the crew provided us with the snorkeling gear. They did not explain how to use this gear and how to handle the gear under water. Since we were 4 of us and 2 of us knew swimming, they managed to help us with the gear and also helped us to get on and off the boat. All the other guests were swimmers and even then, 2 more did not jump into the water, since it was very deep and they were not comfortable with noodles. While the guests jumped on their own into the water with no help from the crew, the waves were high and it became a struggle to get back to the boat and during that time, the group members/families that were traveling together, helped each other to get back up and the crew at this time was in the front of the boat. AS MENTIONED ON THEIR PAGE, they did not accompany us to the water or made us feel comfortable treating water and handling gear. God forbid if anyone needed help at the back of the boat, it was only up to their family members to lookout for them. My swimmer group members were also extremely disappointed and scared to snorkel but they did jump and looked out for each other for the 15 minutes they were in water. I have snorkeled before and everyone who needs a life vest is given one. Also crew is very considerate and lookout for non-swimmers to make them comfortable. All in all it was an unworthy experience and if you're a non-swimmer I suggest you look elsewhere. Also, i felt cheated for the FALSE ADVERTISEMENT on their page. No matter with whom you book, make sure to call them beforehand and get details about their floatation devices and also learn to use the gear before you make this trip.
