This was our favorite experience during our Yellowstone trip. Chantel is very passionate about Yellowstone and the surrounding area, and it shows. We really enjoyed spending the day with her. We enjoyed visiting Virginia City and Nevada City. The museum and towns were awesome, but I think my favorite part was the panning for gold. I found a lot of garnets, and Erika was nice and welcoming and the whole experience was very relaxing. I honestly could have spent all day just doing that. Scott really loved the vigilante history. Thanks for the experience! Scott and Elyse

I feel like we got a very personalized experience because our tour guide, Mimi, grew up in close to these towns and had so much background knowledge and experiences here growing up. It was really neat to hear about them. The old ghost towns are so cool, and I found myself picturing how I wouldā€™ve been had I lived in the time frame in which these towns were thriving. It was a cool experience for sure. Mimi really takes care of her guests and treated us so well. What a kind tour guide that is also such a hard worker!!

I took the took the tour with Globe Trekkers during a free day while in Bozeman for business. This is the 3rd time I have used them and have yet to be dissapointed. AJ is very knowledgeable about the area and is just full of historical facts. He was also very patient with my need to stop (probably a little to much) to take pictures of the scenery. We started out driving through some of the most beautiful mountain passes I have seen, and at one spot you can get a breathtaking view of the mountain range that stretched out for miles. Once we were in the town, it just has a ghost town feel with so many historical markers. Make sure to see the Vaudeville theater show while you are there if possible. I was shocked with how racially diverse and progressive this town was back in it heyday. After Virginia City, the true ghost town of Nevada City just a mile up the road is awesome, plus make sure you take the train ride if is active when you are there. All in all, my trip was great. I give AJ 5-stars for this tour.
