The houseā€™s history as a social hub during Californiaā€™s early days seems to have left a few guests behind.

We have found that ghost tours provide some of the best history of the city that you might not find in the traditional museum. Louie was our tour guide and we added the extended tour. We had such a good time walking around Monterey and getting a better idea of the history. Louie was knowledgeable and passionate about what he was sharing.

Wonderful and spooky tour; enjoyed by all in our group. Our guide was very knowledgable and personable. I highly recomend. It is outdoors, so dress for cold weather and you'll be fine.

Our guide Louis was very passionate about the history in the Monterey area. He had interesting stories and led us to gardens we would never have found on our own. He shared the paranormal stories of the area/buildings and was curious about questions he didn't know the answers to. It was a fun event.
