What To Expect
1
Monument Valley
Monument Valley, a red-sand desert region on the Arizona-Utah border, is known for the towering sandstone buttes of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. The park, frequently a filming location for Western movies, is accessed by the looping, 17-mile Valley Drive. The famous, steeply sloped Mittens buttons can be viewed from the road or from overlooks such as John Ford’s Point.
2
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Monument Valley is a region of the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 1,000 ft (300 m) above the valley floor. It is located on the Utah-Arizona state line, near the Four Corners area. The valley is a sacred area that lies within the territory of the Navajo Nation Reservation, the Native American people of the area.
3
Antelope Canyon
Navajo Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest, on Navajo land east of LeChee, Arizona. It includes five separate, scenic slot canyon sections on the Navajo Reservation.
4
Lower Antelope Canyon
Lower Antelope Canyon is one of the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the American Southwest. This incredible canyon has been created over millions of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today. The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls.
5
Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River, located in the town of Page, Arizona, United States. The hike is about 6 miles one-way to the overlook. The overlook is about a 1,000 meter drop, looking down onto the Colorado River.
