Everything you have read or heard about this MAGICAL trail is true+. We received our first dose of delight via an excellent guided tour from Monument Valley Safari. Luckily our 5,000-mile+ cross country odyssey schedule allowed for a second ramble in our trusty Outback. Double the visual pleasure! We strongly recommend taking the drive early; the line to get on builds by the hour. Make sure your camera is fully charged because you will be afforded thousands (no kidding) of photo ops in this one-of-a-kind place on Planet Earth. Immerse!

the scenery; the people; our tour guide; the information Recommendations for tourists: dress appropriately; don't expect light clothing to be sufficient in October. You miss a lot when you are uncomfortable. Learn something about the area and the people before you go; respect is important. Recommendations for tour company: it would be helpful to improve the vehicles' sound system. Between the wind and truck noises, I missed a lot of what our tour guide was saying. Offer some suggestions for Navajo etiquette to avoid misunderstandings. Our hostess at the hogan was understandably miffed when fellow travelers entered the hogan and left while she was speaking. I felt the time was a little too limited and would have appreciated more time to listen and talk with her. Better communication as to where tourists need to go in order to meet up with the tour would be helpful.

Loop ride was fantastic and very informative, amazing pictures too !! My only issue is I paid for the loop ride which was supposed to include the park entrance fee, it didnā€™t. So I paid twice and was promised a refund that I didnā€™t receive. Other than that a great experience
