What To Expect

Keauhou

This 4-1/2 hour cruise departs daily from Keauhou Bay and includes 2-1/2 hours of snorkeling at pristine Kealakekua Bay, snorkel gear, instruction, floatation gear, high dive, two 15' water slides, and environmentally friendly reef-safe sunscreen.

This tour company is amazing! They really take environmental protection seriously. They have reusable cups and real cutlery on board for their meals and all the plates and bowls are compostable. LOW WASTE FOR THE WIN! And the plant based menu was SO DELICIOUS! It was creative and thoughtful and utilized so many local foods and flavours. The captain provided such fascinating historical information about the island, it's sacred sites, the first Polynesians, etc, I truly want to book him just to give me a historical tour of the island. They have a session on the ride back to dock with a naturalist who talks about all the fish and ocean critters we just saw while snorkeling. We also saw dolphins (they swam along side our boat for 5 minutes!!), whales and even a monk seal! We loved it all and would do it again in a heartbeat!

This was by far the best snorkeling tour in be taken. Captain Dante and crew were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The boat was nicely equipped. The breakfast and lunch were delicious. They also had all sorts of equipment available including nearsighted masks. The bay provided calm water and a beautiful day. I highly recommend this tour.

We went on 3 different tours this last vacation. Two in the morning and one in the afternoon. Every experience was top notch. The crew, the Captain, the site, the ride over and back, the food, the attention to safety and making sure everyone is cared for. We have gone on this boat several times over the years and will return every time we visit the Big Island. It is the highlight of our vacation every time! Shout out to Captain Chris, Captain Isaac and Joey. Love you guys.
