Overview

Seeing the Sonoran desert on two wheels can be memorable. We have lots of options for any level of rider. If you have not been on a bike for a while don't worry we can help you rediscover that talent. If you are a road cyclist and or an intermediate and experienced mountain biker we have you covered too. We have a fleet of hard tail and full suspension mountain bikes for an enjoyable ride.

Our guides have many years and levels of experience on the mountain bike to show you a safe, fun and fantastic time. All bike tours include use of a Marin Performance Hardtail Mountain Bike, helmet, gloves, snacks, bottles of water, sunscreen and a professional, medically trained guide.

Pedal preference? No worries. And we love riders of all ages, so if the kids have joined you on your getaway to the Valley of the Sun, bring them along! As long as they can ride a bike, of course!

SO MUCH FUN!! We are road cyclists and were a little concerned about our first mountain biking adventure. Our guide, Paul, did a fabulous job of easing us into it! Then he customized our 2+ hour adventure as we became more comfortable with the trails. The views and trails were quite memorable. If we come back to this area, we’ll definitely do another tour with Wild Bunch!

We had an all around great experience and I would highly recommend this tour to any new or experienced mountain bikers. Gabe was a fantastic teacher and chose trails that perfectly matched our skill level. He took us on intermediate trails that we otherwise would not have attempted, but we handed them well and it was a good challenge. He is clearly very experienced and would also be a good guide to experienced bikers new to the area. Laurel was very nice and communicative before and after our tour. The bikes were in great shape and rode smoothly. We left feeling excited and empowered to continue mountain biking as a hobby!

Horrible customer service. We were left with no bikes and no guide. We booked the 9 am tour and the guide had us at 1. They attempted to resolve the problem by insisting we take the 1 pm. Laurel offered us to compensate us for the mix up, but then retrieved it. Very unprofessional . Do not recommend this company.

Heidi, Thank you so much for taking time to submit this review. I appreciate you taking time to show in the review that we made an honest mistake in the timing of your tour and offered to compensate you if you had been willing to take us up on one of many offerings to make things right. To ensure guests who read this review --Heidi was booked in for a 1 pm tour via our booking platform which is integrated with Viator/Trip Advisor. There was a glitch and our booking platform has also reached out to Heidi apologizing for the error proving that we made an honest mistake. Things sometimes happen and we have learned to make sure we cross reference timing. As for having no bikes and no guide at 9 am. Heidi, you are correct for you and your husband who we had booked at 1 pm -- our guide on site did not have bikes for you due to your tour being a 1 pm. Logistically speaking the bikes we had on site for the 9 am were also going to be used for you and your husband for 1 pm. My guides had the bikes for our other guests who were booked in at 9 am. If you are reading this -- that should make sense. Heidi was demanding bikes to magically appear and that just could not happen as quick as she wanted. We gave you several options to rectify the situation. I immediately when we learned that an honest mistake had occurred reached out to Trip Advisor and asked for a full refund and offered to take you and your husband at 1 pm-- your booked time via our platform or the next morning. Our guide on site did the same offering you of course the 1 pm time which we had you booked in for. You demanded multiple times we get bikes to the trailhead and a guide immediately which was not possible. I reached out to a guide who had the day off and he too far away from the shop and then add another 40 minutes to get to the trailhead and you still would not have been satisfied. I apologized as my guide many times and many ways for what is a sincere honest mistake and you have decided that is horrible customer service. There would have been no way of making you happy. On top of all of that you decided to blackmail me by sending me a text with your address advising me to compensate you on top of trip advisor refunding your money. Had you taken the offers presented of course we would offer you a comped tour. That is what a genuine, business owner does who cares about honest mistakes and provides honest customer service. We did not go back on anything we offered you. Again, on behalf of my company and our booking platform making an honest mistake we are sorry you chose the route you did which is black mailing-- and writing a review based off what you did not receive in your requests which were beyond ridiculous. What makes me happy to know is you did in fact figure out a way to rent bikes and reported to our guide you had an amazing time seeing the Sonoran Desert. At the end of the day that is what it is all about. Very sincerely, Laurel
