I am a travel agent, and one of my niches is senior travel. When I went on this tour, I was accompanying 3 ladies over the age of 70, 2 of whom have had knee replacement surgery. I was delighted to find this tour, because I knew they wouldn't have to do a lot of walking. Little did I know how entertaining and informational it would be - we LOVED it! We traveled all over Asheville, seeing and learning about the city's street art, graffiti and murals, many of which were commissioned by the city or by individual property owners. I've traveled to Asheville many times over the last 20 years, and this tour gave me insight and information that I never got from just walking around the city on my own. Learning about the artists was a nice touch, especially learning about their styles so we could recognize their work as we rode through different neighborhoods. The art is always changing, so there's always something new to see. I knew that Asheville has long been a haven for artists, but had no idea that the art community runs so strong and deep. I would highly recommend this tour for any age, and for casual visitors and Asheville residents alike, because the information gained is great!
SIDEBAR - The "pit stop" at the Urban cidery was a nice touch, since it gave us a chance to sample some local refreshments and interact more with other passengers on the tour.
