Muir Woods Express with Golden Gate Bridge Visit

Overview

This one day excursion gets you two iconic attractions combining Muir Woods visit with a Same Day stop to the Golden Gate Bridge in a laid back hassle free way. Tour departs on a mini bus with max 40 guests with an assigned time. Guest may also upgrade to smaller group options.

Enjoy a hybrid of light driver narration and informative fort history! Relax with TV narration on the way of Golden Gate Bridge being built and famous Alcatraz Escapes!

This tour departs Fisherman's Wharf on a 70 minute assigned time default large bus or additional fee smaller group van to see Muir Woods. After we will experience the Golden Gate Bridge with ample time to see the bridge. This excursion will end at start point.

Some days events may have an assigned morning departure as early as 6:45am or late as 5pm. We reserve the right to choose vehicles for the day.

Muir Woods National Monument

Guests will experience the tall trees in a 70 minute self guided walking experience. Woods admission not included.

Golden Gate Bridge

Guests will have the chance to stop at Golden Gate Bridge (Sf Side) and have ample time to walk the bridge and take photos.

Presidio of San Francisco

Drive through the former military grounds with spectacular views of Chrissy Field and Fort Point.

Palace of Fine Arts Theatre

Drive past the former home of the 1915 Panama Exposition World's Fair!

James was so good. We have done a lot of tours all over and he rates as our top tour guide. The van was clean and comfortable and he ran on time. He was super upbeat and kept us engaged the whole tour. Muir Woods was beautiful and quiet first thing in the morning before the tour busses get there. The early morning wake up was definitely worth it.

It was worth the while and definitely for larger families. It was private and amazing. The comfort was like no other. James planned a thoroughly and had everything together. We appreciated it all. The Alacatraz was a little hard for my mom whom is a very active 71yr old so definitely get the tram to take anyone who may have a challenge. The smell maybe a bit unbearable so wear your masks! Also bring mask with you, as the ferry will charge you 2.25 pp for masks needed. Over it was a great experience. Be prepared to get a work out. Lol The brunch was nice and heading to saulisto takes you back to European city. It was a quaint town. The drive to Muir Woods is picturesque. Breath taking and stunning. James timing was impeccable, it wasn’t packed and crazy filled with additional tourists. It was zen like and grandeur. I couldn’t say enough. We have teenagers and 4 year old so it was amazing. The Golden Gate Bridge was a checkmark for our bucket list and loved it. Only thing we weren’t prepared for, was the weather. It was soooo cold in July. Wasn’t expecting it so definitely pack some winter like clothes. Otherwise there are many shops at the pier that can cater to your needs.
