Multi-Day Tour Hiking and Camping to 2 Beautiful Alpine Lakes

Overview

Why spend the night in Denver when you can immerse yourself in the Rockies with a hiking and camping adventure?

Camping and hiking are the best ways to truly experience the Rockies. We’ll tailor the hikes and camping locations to your group’s interests, the season, and the day of the week. In summer, we can explore higher elevations, while in fall and spring, we stick to lower, warmer areas. We’ll choose scenic spots, like tranquil lakes, away from heavy crowds.

We typically camp close to the vehicle, with a hike on the first day and a nearby hike on the second. We provide all the essentials: food, water, camping gear, hiking poles, headlamps, and bear spray. Just bring appropriate clothing and a rain jacket.

Enjoy sandwiches on the trail and a BBQ dinner by the campfire in the evening. You’re welcome to relax with drinks and anything else legal in Colorado.

If fires are allowed we can do a bbq. If not we can cook some other things like pasta or burritos. Very flexible.

We will include 2 lunches. One will be a sandwich of your choosing and we will decide the other meal on the road out

It was a real pleasure to spend these two days with Jeremy. He took a very good care of us. Picked us on time, chose very interesting hikes, beautiful camping spot. He spoiled us with delicious food like baked on fire salmon and burgers for dinner, for breakfast eggs and potatoes and coffee with muffins. Also we had many snacks during the day. He was a great companion . His knowledge was impressive and we had lots of interesting talks.

I was visiting the Denver area for a work trip and really wanted to go on a guided hike. I was amazed to find a 2 day camping trip! I spoke with Jeremy and he answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Since I went in October, I ended up being the only guest on the trip because it can get pretty cold at that time of the year. As a solo girl, I felt very safe and comfortable with Jeremy, which is such an important factor! Since I was the only person on the trip, he curated the hike to fit my needs as I had just flown in the night before and came from sea level. He gave me the option to either do car camping or backpacking and I decided to try backpacking for the first time in my life. It was so hard to hike up and down a mountain with a heavy backpack but it was truly one of the best things I've ever done! Jeremy provided all of the food and supplies we needed and was a great guide. I will absolutely book another 2 day hike with Amazing Adventures the next time I visit Colorado!

Jeremy was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and chose great hikes and a beautiful camping spot. He took extra time to personalize everything and prepare days in advance, and even made a delicious dinner of salmon and steak. He was able to adjust everything with changes in weather and even modified the plan for the second day to accommodate my hiking ability and preferences. He’s lived and traveled all over the world, and is an expert guide who is devoted to teaching and passionate about creating positive traveling experiences for people. Thanks for a great experience!
