Overview

This scenic tour takes you to Multnomah Falls and the Columbia River Gorge. Enjoy the views from Vista House on the Columbia River Gorge Highway before travelling the historic highway to dramatic Multnomah Falls. Learn about the area from your driver guide as you follow the route of the Lewis and Clark Expedition back to Portland. We travel over a some of the Historic Columbia River Highway which features a portion the famous waterfall corridor, the “Latourell Loops” and Falls, and Sheppard’s Dell. A 30 minute stop at Multnomah Falls and a 20 minute stop at Vista House is included. We also visit Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery as well as view the fish ladders. This 4.25-hour tour showcases the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and the incredible diversity of scenery at Portland’s doorstep!

Waterfalls and river gorge! Guide very helpful. Your website was too confusing about downloading a ticket yet having to go to grey line e for real ticket. Online business should be totally online especially for tourists not having much time. It took too long to get to half day trip. It’s very popular.

Summary: This is a great scenic and informative tour if you don't have a lot of time (or your own car) and want to experience some of the beauty of Oregon not far away from the city! Worth the price for sure! I didn't have my own car while visiting Portland, but I still wanted to see some of the beautiful outdoors not far off. After researching my options, though I don't often do tours, I signed up for the Gray Line half-day tour of the Falls and Gorge. It helped that one of the pickup points was very convenient to me, since 8:30 is painfully early when I'm on vacation. The bus was clean, comfortable, and perfectly air conditioned for the summer weather. Our tour guide Brian shared great history and also took great pics! I would have loved to have more time to do a longer hike, but this tour was a useful introduction so I know what's worth coming back to!

Tour bus on time. Tour guide ,Brian, very knowledgeable and friendly. Gray Line’s company staff promptly returned my phone call to clarify some questions. At a time when customer service is declining, they were excellent. I would recommend this tour !
