This tour is a MUST if you’re in or anywhere near Tucson. Our guide, Lorraine, was an easy-going and friendly expert who shared so much about the city’s landmarks, neighborhoods, and architecture that it was like getting several tours in one. The scale and beauty of these murals is ineffable, and driving by them in a car just doesn’t compare to standing beneath them and seeing them on a bike. There truly are too many to count and so many to see. As an out-of-towner from the east coast, I found the tour to be an incredible way to see the city and sense it’s many unique areas in a way only bicycling with a true local can provide. I feel like I now know Tucson in a way that would’ve been impossible without this tour, and Lorraine’s Mexican restaurant suggestion led me to a brilliant lunch after about 2.5 hours of cruising this beautiful city.
