While normally we do go inside 1-3 places, for the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will not go inside, in order to keep our guests safe. I've been on quite a few ghost tours including in Savannah, Philadelphia, and a small town in Georgia rich in Civil War history. They are truly serious about ghostly activity on this tour, so don't expect to visit fun and beautiful areas and hear fabricated stories. It is apparent that this company has done a great deal of research into the history of the city and the historical buildings and we learned a lot. Some of the history was pretty gory, so I don't recommend this tour for young children. Dale was our guide and he was excellent.

Hi Fun, thank you so much for your wonderful review. As you noted, we HAVE dome a lot of research- in fact, we literally wrote the book on ghosts in the city, Haunted Chattanooga- and we all love both the ghosts AND the history. I'm so glad you had a blast with Dale! Thanks again.

Had fun and learned some interesting city facts! We made a loop from shop to downtown, through Read House, and to jail.

I took my wife and 8 year old son on this tour and they both hated it for opposite reasons. My son said it was too scary and my wife said it was too gimmicky. I agree that it was kind of hokey and really more for those who like “ghost hunter” type shows on SyFy. We went to this parking garage and the guide said people hear voices down there all the time. I tried not to laugh at that because there’s a busy street that passes right over the parking garage and you can clearly hear (and see if you’re tall enough) the people out there talking. I enjoyed the walk around downtown and I liked the decor in the tattoo shop, and we ended up coming back two weeks later and staying at the Read House (because my wife fell in love with it on the tour) but the tour itself wasn’t great. There was a couple with our group that left halfway through and we probably should’ve gone with them. My wife actually reviewed this place also, but the owner responded to her review and said she was a fake reviewer because she didn’t recognize her name. So here’s your (second) legitimate review. Check under “Pleasant”.
