Museum of Broadway

Overview
We’ve brought together a team of internationally renowned artists, designers & historians — both from Broadway & the experiential world — to design the museum. It will be educational, but told in a fun, accessible, brightly colored way! We are going to share information about the history of the Broadway theaters through projection mapped videos, the timeline of Broadway told through immersive environments that will leave people’s Instagram feeds full of great photos and give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a Broadway show by spotlighting all the jobs and what it takes to create a Broadway show. There are other surprises and sections of the museum that will excite fans young and old!

This museum is Broadway lover's dream. The content is very rich and exceptionally well organized to tell the captivating story of our nation's most acclaimed cultural institution. My family and I have particularly appreciated the "Stage Door" section - a most beautiful homage to all those countless "invisible" professions that make the miracle come alive. (Quite frankly, that was our favorite part.) And, of course, a special gratitude to the staff who were courteous, helpful (and funny!) every step of the way. The bottomline: I highly recommend this fantastic place, and we will most certainly be back!

Very well organized history of Broadway. Costumes, props, and guides that can share little known facts. Plays, musicals, vaudeville. Every part of Broadway. The cool thing is that it also correlates world history to show what influenced Broadway.

It's a great stop. I learned a lot about the history of Broadway. I was reminded of many shows that I knew that had fallen off my radar. Listening to the soundtrack from West Side Story now. :) I liked the bottom floor that focused on producing a Broadway show and all the crew positions. Only technical issues is there is sound bleed between West Side Story and Cabaret and from the interviews of several crew members in the "production" space. Sound domes or something similar should cure this. Overall, very nicely done.
