I honestly don’t understand what the hype is about—this experience was a huge disappointment. Aside from the slide and the sprinkle pool (which honestly felt like a glorified version of a ball pit at places like McDonald's or Chuck E. Cheese), there wasn’t much else to do. We had to wait outside in line for 30 minutes past our ticket time, only to be ushered into a room where we were asked to pick an ice cream name. Meanwhile, there were kids in line screaming because they were bored and tired of waiting, which made the whole experience even less enjoyable. After that, we were handed a packaged ice cream bar and let loose into the museum. The first room had some history about ice cream and toppings, but it was overcrowded and lacked any clear direction. We had no idea where to go or what to do next, and the sheer number of people there was overwhelming. We eventually found our way to the slide, but of course, that had another line. After the slide, everyone just wanted to leave. My 10-year-old son, however, wanted to try the sprinkle pool, so we sat and watched him jump in a few times before calling it a day. It was an overall confusing and underwhelming experience, and I’m honestly not sure what all the excitement is about. It is ABSOLUTELY not worth the admission price of $50 per person.

From hours spent standing in line outside to hours spent standing in line inside this VIP ticket was the worst tourism experience I have ever had. Unlimited ice cream means a popsicle and a scoop of absolute garbage that defies description. Disorganized dirty and inconsistent messaging. I actually had more fun standing outside in a February line without a coat than I did in this dump. Disney would have been cheaper. Trying to sell you on souvenirs before you get into the building - watching a dumpster fire would be more fun than this place. Let me say it again… FILTHY. These poor people trying to chirp some fun into this horror show and just make it worse.The extra hours of parking due to disorganized set-up and staff just add insult to injury.8

New, fun, and unique experience for Boston! We went close to the opening of the Museum - loved the colors and designs, especially in the Fenway room. Try to find a room/space where not many people are and soak it all in. We spent a lot of time playing games and getting the cotton candy. Would go again!
