We paid $170 for three people to go to the Museum of Ice Cream because our kid really wanted to go. But. Let our mistake be your lesson. This is not a museum. This is not even entertainment. You walk around a maze-like building trying to find your way out of the “self-guided” tour. The ice cream is horrible: watery, half frozen, random flavors. After the initial welcome you walk through rooms that have nothing to do with ice cream and are set up like sets for the many wannabe instgrammers who are filming themselves. Randomly, there is a playground in the middle where all the children finally get to play like children. There is nothing special about it except the low ceilings and dirty ball pit. There is no ice cream in this room. The pool of sprinkles is about half a foot deep. Many many people jumped in and were jolted by the shallow pool. Then you go down a slide to the basement and are met with a roomful of undecorated Christmas trees. When you end up in the lobby nobody talks to you or thanks you for coming. But there is a bar where you can spend more money buying, presumably, more bad ice cream and loads of ice cream themed merchandise. Super disappointing.

I loved the original ideas for every room we went into. The ice cream was delicious and the fact that they had vegan options was the icing on the cake. Wonderful experience!

We had reservations for 11:30 and sat in line for 45 min just to be let in with an attitude because we were rightfully upset about the wait in 27 degree weather
