Fabulous experience!!! These dogs are well cared for. There is a vet on site. They love what they do. This was definitely a unique experience. Thanks Team! And good luck in the race.

MUST experience this! The team was wonderful all around. They taught me so much about the dogs, dog sledding, and the Iditarod. I cannot speak highly enough about this experience. I was able to meet sweet retired dogs, 4 little puppies, and many current racing dogs. The ride on the dog sled was so much fun and we learned lots of interesting things along the way. You will have fun memories for a lifetime and must experience this while visiting Talkeetna. If Talkeetna is not part of your planned trip, this would be worth changing your itinerary for and also Talkeetna is a great place to see the Northern Lights. While you’re in downtown Talkeetna you should visit the store of Dora ā€œAuroraā€ Redman. She is so kind, amazing at what she does, and taught me a lot about how to best photograph the Aurora Borealis (as a hobby/amateur photographer).
