This is a very fun experience and you learn a lot about the dogs and the sport. The guides obviously love their work almost as much as the dogs. Highly recommend it.

This was absolutely incredible. The dogs were amazing, the people were friendly and knowledgeable, the drive and ride was beautiful, and the fact that we had actual Iditarod champions pulling us was pretty surreal. It was interesting to learn more about the race itself and the care and attention put into the dogs at home, in training, and while mushing. And snuggling 3 week old puppies???? OKAY!!!! We learned from guides in other places that most tours contract mushers to bring dogs in to do tours, I was so glad we picked this one and got the experience to go to the kennel where the dogs actually live. I don't do many touristy things more than once but I would definitely repeat this if we come back through in winter!
