We spent 2 1/2 hours experiencing this museum. My son is not a country fan, so he loved this museum. So much to see and experience. Really loved the Jimi Hendrix experience. Great music playing all throughout the room. A great education for music buffs.

I took a visit to the museum on my visit from the UK. The museum is heavily dedicated to the musicians of the USA – as it should be. However there was one small display on what they call the “British Invasion” during 1964-1967. It was nice to see the men/women behind the front man / lead singer getting recognition for their part in the hit music. The museum is divided into sections, and each section is dedicated to a particular studio, or person(s). For example Motown exhibit, Sun Studio Exhibit, Garth Brooks exhibit to name a few. There is also a dedicated section to Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix. Over the back there is an interactive section where you can play instruments, sing karaoke, rapp, record, song write…..etc. Pretty much anything from start to finish to make a hit record. I spent a couple of hours here reading and wandering around. Really does give you a sense of how important the musicians are to any record. Its great to see them showcased. Even though I am not from the USA, I really enjoyed the museum.
