These historical tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind tour of this mysterious seaside city. This is the perfect tour for true crime fans and those who love a good scandalous story!

Attention: Adult Mature content including descriptive graphic murders, sexual assault and torture. This tour is not appropriate for children under 13!! Younger children/chaperone will be asked to leave or transfer to a different tour (if space allows).

Tours run RAIN or SHINE. We do NOT cancel for weather. No refunds in October.

Come experience the darker side of Salem on our guided night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind one-hour tour of this mysterious seaside city. Not for the faint of heart. Suitable for adults and young adults, not recommended for younger children. Tours run rain or shine and last approximately 90 minutes.

Walk the cobblestoned streets in the heart of Salem

Old Burying Point Cemetery

We bring you to the gate of the cemetery. We do not enter the cemetery. Cemetery is closed after dusk.

Saint Peter's Episcopal Church

The guide will share a few facts about the church as we pass by.

We share the haunted stories that occurred within the walls of this house. Outdoor activity only.

I loved all the knowledge that the tour guide had on not only the stories she was telling us but the history of Salem in general. She made the tour very memorable and enjoyable even tho it a little chilly🥶(burrr) I highly recommend this tour and this tour guide specifically. Thankyou so much!!

Awesome tour!! Samantha is amazing! She knows so much about the darker history of Salem and she shared several personal experiences and eye witness accounts. She even had photos! We will definitely be booking another tour with Witch City Walking Tours on our next visit to Salem!
