The start up is confusing. A plackard was missing. And the whole mystery concept was just a deterrent. Each of the ā€œriddles ā€œ were the same type. Needs more originality.

The experience was fine, it was a lot shorter than I expected. We struggled with the second to last clue. Neither the plaque nor the hint was accurate. We had to just Google search the answer. There was no way we were ever going to figure it out. Unfortunately, this experience might have been better for couples or small groups of friends but we had our kid with us and she got bored and didnā€™t want to participate after a couple of clues.

We live in San Diego. We've been to the Gaslamp tons of times but never really took the time to look at the buildings or learn the history. Because of Mysteries on the Move, we have a new appreciation for our town. The directions were easy to follow and we completed the "game" in an hour or so. Some of the placards have changed since the game was produced so if the answer isn't on the placard, check the link on the website. Overall, this was the best $20 bucks I've spent in ages! Make time to enjoy lunch/dinner downtown after you solve the mystery of who killed Rex!
