Overview

There’s nothing more intimately haunting than a colonial burial ground and Mystic boasts some of the most fascinating and haunted burial grounds around. Whitehall Burial Ground established in the 1660’s was one of the common burial places of Mystic until the rural landscape movement arrived to Mystic in 1854. Our Graveyard Ghost Tour tells tales of some of Mystic’s most famous residents.

The graveyard tour walks visitors through early American history in New England through times of fear, sickness and war. The trials and tribulations left behind several hauntings and the graveyard has had activity of footsteps, voices and full-bodied apparitions for years – many of which guests experience on our tour. The Graveyard tour ends with a special spooky surprise – perfect for history and ghost lovers alike. Love the historical information provided by Jason. Need to remove the skunk though. All in all, a unique experience.

Haha! We are glad you loved Jason's tour. He told us that a skunk dove in to the end of the tour but no one was harmed or sprayed :) The nature of our door tours in a cemetery come with all sort of unexpected happenings but We have to say that was a first. Thank you for coming on the tour!

The tour guide, AJ was awesome!! He was so knowledgeable and had a beautiful way of delivering the stories. We found out at the end of the tour that this was his first tour in the cemetery!! He was concerned because people left the tour early but it definitely wasn't any fault of his. The only suggestion I can make is to bring bug spray. We got bug bites all over our feet and legs.

We had a wonderful evening w Kim and Sierra. They both did an incredible job with their storytelling and we loved learning about Mystic’s special spirits. We wish we lived closer to attend all of their events. Also - the “spooky surprise” is definitely worth the wait!
