We were very pleasantly surprised by this museum. There is so much to see and do here - really something for everyone. We were there for six hours and still didnā€™t get to see everything!! Great fun for small kids to adults! There are lots of food and drink options here too. We all learned something new and had a wonderful time!

Great experience! Educational and fun. We had the perfect weather, packed a picnic lunch and sat under shady tree. The view of the water and boats were breathtaking!

The live museum is not fully operational. Most of the rooms were closed and the actors didnā€™t dress up like the figures they were supposed to play. Very disappointing from a ā€œlive museumā€

Dear Joefrenk, We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear we did not live up to your expectations during your visit. Our living history museum consists of a working shipyard where we restore wooden vessels, a maritime village set in the 19 century with interpreters (craftsmen and storytellers) in specific locations and formal exhibits in the north part of campus. I appears that you were expecting a village full of actors during your visit but that is not the type of museum we are. At Mystic Seaport Museum we have a daily a daily schedule were we hold demonstrations from our interpretation team, have over 40 buildings and 3 tallships that are open to the public, as well as offer numerous options for people to get out on the water. With that being said all of our full-price tickets allow for a second visit within 7 days and are sold satisfaction guaranteed. If you would like to make arrangements for a refund, please reach out to me at your convenience 860 572-0711 Respectfully, Gabriel Gresko
