Operating on the most advanced and capable rafts on Kaua'i, the custom built Kauai Voyager I & 2, we are able to accommodate guests like no other. Our tour bring us right up close to the majestic cliffs and private beaches of the Na Pali Coast as well as into epic sea saves. We offer a smooth ride with individual seating and a full restroom while still having total access to the Na Pali Coast's spectacular features and activities.

*Please note that water activities such as snorkeling, sea caves, etc. are WEATHER PERMITTING but done on a vast majority of our tours.

“Historical” 20 foot swells, beaches closed, high winds, no snorkeling or caves due to ocean conditions caused by hurricane Darby. I called the excursion at nine and asked if it was still on they said they didn’t know they were monitoring it and they would call me back at 11 which they never did. I called them at noon she said she hadn’t heard anything so she assumed it was still going to be OK. Small craft warnings and motorless craft warnings. I asked to reschedule—no. I asked for a refund because it didn’t sound like it was gonna be a good day on the ocean to say the least. They told me they couldn’t give me a refund because I booked it through you. So I think you both suck.

Tropical storm Darby did leave some very nice swells with the islands. Legendary surfing with the best of the best having a ball. We encounter these swells every winter at this level and much larger heights. As with all days we evaluate our ability to maneuver and avoid danger. It’s what we do. There was a swell outside the harbor. It was impressive and passable. Where there was no swell? Along the beautiful Na Pali Coast. Leaving the shop and on the boat our guest are notified of what is to come. All are made aware every day, flat water, rough water, windy, rainy or sunny that entering the sea caves is weather dependent. Snorkeling is weather dependent. All are notified in advance that you do not have to go out with us. Our Cancellation policy is 48 hrs. On big days, like referenced we have no problem allowing those who wish to drop out do so. In fact our guests are encouraged to do so if they are not going to be able to enjoy the trilling adventure and possibly miss out on snorkeling. What we will not issue a refund for is to those who are notified prior to the trip of the objectives and what we may or may not be able to accomplish and make an informed decision to join us. At that point you are a passenger and we are going to take you on an adventure. The Na Pali was beautiful the waterfalls were flowing the oceans were calm and the water was amazing. The currents however were strong as addressed in the briefing prior to departure. We work with people from all around the world. Perhaps things get lost in translation. Refunds are possible if requested outside 48 hours if booked direct. They are not possible if one took the journey with us knowing in advance our policy and our plans for the day. It was big water but once one choses to go with us for the day after hearing the brief one has chosen. Third party reservations are challenging for all but that said if you use a third party to book a reservation that party has to issue the refund. We do not have the funds and all your pertaining information. Contact the third party. If a guest books direct we can process a refund immediately assuming we are provided 48 hours notice and or one takes the informed and offered opportunity prior to the trip to opt out. This is only an opt out option when we accept there is a condition that may be above some guests abilities to enjoy. As to the call it was a text. It was answered and the email was replied to as well. Upon check in all were briefed and the decision to participate was entirely optional to make at that time. What was stated is that a refund is not possible though us as this was a third party booking. As such one would have to request through the third party. My hope is you look back on the day and in a month or two and appreciate the skills and abilities of your captain. I hope you can tell your friends with a quivering laugh that you zoomed confidently over those legendary swells and were whisked away to a beautiful calm water unbecoming of the moments just minutes before. On reflection you may appreciate the wisdom of not entering a sea cave in tight quarters and on reflection you may see the professionalism extended in not allowing 28 humans with various abilities into the water when currents are strong. We are not a small craft or motor-less vessel. We are 37 feet with 600 horsepower. Twin engines for safety. As stated, we have these conditions intermittently throughout the winter months. We asses and address these remarkable moments and produce the best trip possible with the day we are given. If necessary no trip will happen and I will be here responding to the rancor of “last minute cancellation” as if there is ever any other kind when dealing with boats, ocean and weather. Enjoy the story of the day Captain J’s took you over the top and brought you back to tell the tale, even if you miss a couple of the details.

We loved everything about the adventure…super fun ride, getting wet, learning about the history of the island, going in caves, snorkeling, seeing the beautiful Napali coast, and the music playlist! Capt. Dave and Kannon were great at keeping us safe, hydrated, and entertained! Would highly recommend this excursion! Take a Dramamine if you get a little queasy…our group of 9 did great and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Those heart beats get a little quicker going 30 knts at the base of 1500’ sea cliffs. Mine certainly increases as we attempt to enter the caves. Some days you can on the easy some days you shouldn't while other days you just cant. Glad your day allowed you that little extra. Thank you for the recommendation!

We loved everything! We had a party of 5 but because my 82 year old mom wanted to come, we broke it into 2 different raft adventures. This super raft will not disappoint. You still get the speed. This raft is much more comfortable than the one you have to sit on the side and hold onto ropes with your hands and feet. Captain Dave and Kannon were so informative and made the adventure so much fun. I would absolutely do this one again and my family that did the other raft adventure would do the super raft the next time also. Captain Dave, we also loved the music!!!! Thanks for the highlight of our Kauai trip.
