I wish I could say it was great, as it was $400 and a once in a lifetime experience. Unfortunately, I guess the weather was not in our favor. The Captain did say before we left that if your doctor wouldn't recommend you going on a four hour roller coaster ride that you shouldn't go. Well, I don't have health issues and am not prone to motion sickness, so I went. What I didn't know if that it would be a rather miserable boat ride of not seeing much. We were out for four hours of up and down. Some on the boat saw two whale sightings, but they were only up once and it was just a body part. We did stop and see a large pod of spinner dolphins. There were what my husband said were 30 ft. swells and when we got to the 1,000 ft. mountains, the boat turned around and went back. I guess there are 4,000 ft. mountains. I'm sure it's the view of a lifetime, or that is what you would expect, but when you pay to get there and don't, not sure what to say. I had a miserable time going up and down sitting in a seat for four hours getting splashed and honestly cold a lot of the time. Not the Hawaiian experience one would expect. I guess she should have cancelled, or maybe they should have cancelled the trip.
