Operating on the most advanced and capable rafts on Kaua'i, the custom built Kauai Voyager I & 2, we are able to accommodate guests like no other. Our tour bring us right up close to the majestic cliffs and private beaches of the Na Pali Coast as well as into epic sea saves. We offer a smooth ride with individual seating and a full restroom while still having total access to the Na Pali Coast's spectacular features and activities.

*Please note that water activities such as snorkeling, sea caves, etc. are WEATHER PERMITTING but done on a vast majority of our tours.

Captain J’s gave us a great experience along the Na Pali coast. A local tour bookie recommended a catamaran tour due to rough seas this time of year but we decided a speed boat was better and we are very glad with our decision. The check in process was easy, Captain Andy didn’t sugarcoat the possibility of rough seas or a rough boat trip. He was very transparent and told everyone that if they had any neck or back issues they should not go on the tour. Also if a woman is pregnant we were told that she cannot go. We sat in the back of the raft behind the captain which was the best place for us as it was a sturdier ride but we did get ocean spray which was disclosed before we left. The trip to the coast was smooth. We saw many dolphins, the snorkel portion was good as there were lots of fish and a turtle. We had trouble with water getting into the face mask but we did a shark dive (in a cage) the week before and had issues with the mask too so 🤷🏻‍♀️ During the tour at the Na Pali coast the swell got high so Captain Andy wouldn’t go into the cave which was fine. More dolphins which was one of the big reasons for us booking the trip. There were numerous dolphin mamas with their babies which was adorable. The babies jumped out and put on a short show for us. The Na Pali coast is spectacular. The most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. The ride back was a bit rough because the wind had picked up. Even though it was rough we didn’t mind the ride back at all. Captain Andy and Rider were good hosts, very personable and friendly and Captain Andy had a good sense of humour. Rider was quieter. Captain Andy’s vocabulary was a bit colourful a few times. If we had a child with us it would have been more of an issue. Also it was hard to hear Captain Andy sharing info about the landmarks over the noise of the engine of the raft and the wind. Overall a great experience and we loved the tour, and the speed of the boat.
