Kaysie is the most friendly and enthusiastic guide you will ever meet! She is insanely knowledgeable about the country music attractions in downtown Nashville, and so passionate about sharing it with visitors. We learned so many fascinating details of the original country music performers and how they established this unique music community. I was surprised how long we spent inside the first stop, which was also the tour’s meeting place – Ernest Tubb Record Shop – the tiny place is packed with music memorabilia and is also the historic setting for many iconic country music events. We didn’t actually have to walk a lot since most of the stops are very close to each other, like Legends Corner and Ryman Auditorium. But Kaysie was able to give us information each step of the way as well as letting us have time to look closely and photograph interesting features. We even got a taste of some delicious ice cream at Savannah’s Kitchen on Broadway. If you are a first-time visitor, this tour is a delightful way to get an overall impression of all that is country in Nashville. (the current Grand Ole Opry isn’t included in this tour because it is situated about 12 miles away in its own Opryland resort; however, we did walk around the Ryman which was home to the Grand Ole Opry for decades before it grew so popular it had to be moved to a larger venue.)

This walking tour was one of the best experiences we had on a girls' weekend trip to Nashville. Kaysie is a fun, energetic, and knowledgeable tour guide, who makes the tour interactive for all members. Despite the summer heat, everyone had such a great time on the tour and we learned so much about the background of country music in the city. I would definitely recommend this tour with Kaysie for anyone making a trip to Nashville!

This walking tour was such a great addition to our first trip to Nashville. We found the walking tour on Groupon, so we were able to purchase this at a discount, but would easily pay full price. Kaysie, our tour guide was absolutely fabulous. her energy, knowledge, and passion for the city shines through. Highly, highly recommend!!
