You will either be transported by our coach bus or 15 passenger van depending on the size of group

What To Expect

Tennessee Whiskey Tours

This Jack and Back tour picks up near the 5th Avenue Korean Veterans Blvd intersection in downtown Nashville at 9:00am. Your guide will have a cooler on board stocked with ice and water. Feel free to bring your adult beverages of choice. The group will depart promptly at 9:10am for the 1.5 hour trip to Lynchburgh, TN. The trip is approximately one third on the interstate and the other part takes you through the small town of Shelbyville, a town famous for the Tennessee Walking Horse. After strolling through Shelbyville, the remaining thirty minute commute takes you through picturesque rolling hills and farms into Moore County, only one of three counties where distilling was legal in Tennessee until just a few years ago. Upon arriving at Jack Daniel's distillery, you'll disembark the bus and your guide get you checked-in to the distillery. The tasting tour runs approximately 1.5-hours. You'll have about an hour and a half to peruse the small square of downtown Lynchburg. Don't forget to grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants overlooking the square (at own expense). Before you leave, take the opportunity to visit the White Rabbit Bottle Shop and purchase some rare and Tennessee-only bottles of Jack Daniel's or check out the selection of branded Jack items at the downtown general store. This tour will depart Lynchburg at 2:30pm and drop off at the starting point at approximately 4:00pm.

Jack Daniel's Distillery

Upon arriving at Jack Daniel's distillery, you'll disembark the bus and your guide get you checked-in to the distillery. The tasting tour runs approximately 1.5-hours.

Lynchburg Hardware and General Store

Before you leave, take the opportunity to visit the White Rabbit Bottle Shop and purchase some rare and Tennessee-only bottles of Jack Daniel's or check out the selection of branded Jack items at the downtown general store.

Started our trip with an hour delay due to tractor trailer and deer. Get to the distillery and they gave us our tour times. All the people on the bus got different times. Our tour time was 12:45 when we started weather alerts go of on everyone’s phone. We had to take shelter for about 45 minutes tornado horns went off. Everyone at the distillery was in the building after the all clear we went back to our tour. Our tour guide Ron was great and did a great job. After the end of tour I received text, messages and then a phone call from a very rude gentleman I assume from the bus company stating we where late and the bus was going to leave without us. I was very angry at the way he spoke to me and the threat of leaving us there. The hour delay and tornado was not our faults. For them to threaten the bus leaving without us was very unprofessional. I would go back to Jack Daniels, but would not book with them vey unprofessional.

We had a great time. Our driver, Frank, was a hoot. His food recommendations were spot on. The tour was fun a and informative. Really liked the cave, as it was hot outside. Lots of walking and the room where they boil the mash is stifling hot. Many stairs, but we got to see the bottling room and the tasting was great.

The tour was great! Our tour guide was awesome, very funny and knowledgeable! Lynchburg is a neat little town, we really enjoyed walking around and eating at the Double Barrel Cafe.
