The Manoa Falls trail was closed. Our tour was to the botanical gardens and a small waterfall. Our guide Yugi made this trip very enjoyable. His knowledge of botany and local history was outstanding. As a dual language speaker he was able to explain perfectly in English and Japanese for all to understand. But his patience and kindness towards one of our participants was the most heartwarming. He assisted her at every step on the hike to and from the falls. It was very difficult due to the heavy rain that was falling. The trail was quite muddy and slip but Yugi ensured that she was able to complete the hike and see the waterfall. Yugi is a superb guide and a wonderful individual. He represents your company in such a favorable way as to encourage additional bookings. He is an asset to your team.

We so appreciate your sharing this thoughtful recap of your tour. We are so happy to hear that Yuji acted with aloha and assisted our guests to get to the waterfall. We absolutely agree that he is an asset and we are very proud to have him on our team! I am wondering, is there anything Yuji and our company could have done better to get a 5-star rating? Please let us know. Mahalo and safe travels!

We ended up going to Aihualama Falls since Manoa Falls was closed. It was awesome. Our guide was very knowledgable. We also had vegan/gluten free lunch from Peace Cafe.

Although, our original tour was supposed to be at the Manoa falls, we still enjoyed the hike to the botanical gardens. We were given an option to cancel with 100% refund, but we wanted to continue with the tour. Shanti was super knowledgeable and thorough about historical value from plants to history! We were blown away by his customer service, knowledge, and hospitality! There was only two of us on the tour, so we felt like VIPs! We were pleasantly surprised to see the trickle water falls during our hike. We were given a superb vegetarian meal at the end of our tour and enjoyed the park scenery. We couldnā€™t be happier! We felt like we were walking with one of our own family members! Thank you Shanti!!!

Aloha Mari, We're so glad you enjoyed Aihualama Falls! We can't wait for Manoa Falls to open back up, but we really think that Aihualama Falls is something special, too. We will be sure to share your positive feedback with Shanti, and we know it will make his day. Mahalo!
