Hear all about the women who ran New Orleans from the shadowed doorways of Storyville, the nuns who challenged and overcame segregation in Catholicism, the Voodoo Queen whose name still dominates in daily conversation after 200+ years, and many, many more. A little mob history and gay bars thrown in (a little nod to the bad boys of the city), but the focus will be the women of Storyville, Black Storyville, our first female serial killer, lady vampires and more.
