The staff were great. Very engaging and inclusive. The drinks flowed easily with a nice selection. A few snacks were also available. The snorkeling was a bit hard because I had a hard time swimming to the reef as the waves kept pushing me away. It was pretty tiring. The stop at Rick’s Cafe was a lot of fun. My first time there. The trip finished with a beautiful sunset.

This trip was so fun! the captain and crew were amazing -- s/o to Lennox for taking such good care of us and keeping our drinks full. The boat trip was very enjoyable and the music they played was exactly what we wanted. We went on one of the adult only days so I am not sure if they change the music on the non adult days. Ricks was fun. The only thing I would change is that it were longer because we were enjoying ourselves so much we didn't want it to end!

The catamaran left from Margaritaville and took us out to the reef for snorkeling. We probably spent 20-30 minutes snorkeling, which was adequate. The current was somewhat strong in places, but everyone is given a flotation device. I recommend bringing your own gear, mainly because the idea of sticking a public snorkel in my mouth is way icky. Then we sailed to Rick's Café. Getting the water taxi to shore was its own adventure. I've never been seasick in my life but that little glass bottom boat just about had me hurling into the waves. Rick's is a definite tourist trap, but it's fun watching people dive off the cliffs, or diving in yourself. Drinks are included in the price of the cruise, and there were small snacks provided as well. The crew made sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves, and the energy was high on the way back to Margaritaville. Beautiful sunset from the boat, then back to shore. Something to be aware of: this is in no way accessible for the mobility impaired. From getting on the catamaran via a stairway being buffeted by waves, to getting in and out of the water to snorkel, to the water taxi and getting on and off the "dock" at Rick's, then getting back on the boat and off again at the beach, you MUST be able to climb and maintain your balance.
