Overview

Snowmobiling allows you to view miles of Vermont back country scenery, see wildlife in their natural habitat, and socialize with your friends. More than 3,100 miles of wide, "corridor" VAST trails and several thousand miles of secondary trails will lead you to spacious fields, high mountain tops, remote farm yards and hospitable villages.

Tour size maximum is 4 snowmobiles plus guide.

Minimum age of operator is 16 with drivers license. Children 6-15 are allowed as passengers only.

What To Expect

Lamoille Valley Rail Trail

The tour rides along the Rail Trail revealing a beautiful ice formation along the way. We will stop for pictures at these formations.

We are staying at the Rabbit Hill Inn for a long weekend and we’re unsure what to do with our first day here. Typically when in Vermont we spend our days in Burlington or brewery hopping. We wanted to mix things up a bit. Leslie and Brian made reservations for us with NEK and we were ready to go. When we first stepped foot in the door we were greeted with the warmest hello and biggest smile, it was already a great experience. Considering we were unprepared for this trip to include outdoor activities, our attire was sub par. Luckily, we were provided face masks and snow pants. So very grateful!!! We went on our tour, and for someone who has a great deal of anxiety in anything but a car, I had the time of my life. It was beautiful, we stopped for pictures, went up and down hills, beautiful roads that had gorgeous canopies with trees hanging above. I loved every minute of our spontaneous adventure. Dallas, thank you for such a wonderful experience, we truly appreciate your participation in our weekend away!

NEK provided us with the best experience!!!! Dallas, our guide was the best! This was our first time snowmobiling. NEK ensure that we enjoyed our time in the safest way possible. Dallas made sure to check-in with every rider during the excursion to make sure everyone was ok. He allowed us to take our time with the snowmobile until we felt comfortable enough to pick up the speed. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have the best experience while in Vermont!

You must try this tour! It is AWESOME! We had never gone snowmobiling before so we had some hesitation. From the moment we met Phil at the shop he put us at ease. So friendly and positive. Dallas our guide was fantastic! Also very friendly and super positive and knowledgeable - you know you’re going to be in good hands. After he shows you how to operate the snowmobile you are on your way to an excellent 2 hour tour. Our two daughters, age 13 and 15 rode tandem with my husband and I. The trails are awesome going up and down through the woods and fields and to the wide open spaces where you can see forever - the views were spectacular! It was an excellent outing for our family, we all had a blast and can’t wait to do it again. We’d love to come back in the warmer months and try ATV tour. Thank you NEK Adventures!!
