I went on 1/2/15. There were only 2 of us and our guide Chrystyne showed up early so we started the tour early. I found this experience enlightening and informative. There are many ghosts in New Haven and some strange things happened to us. Coincidence? Maybe. But we had a really good time. I would reccommend going in a small group for a more personal tour.

Jon Peck Ghosts of New Haven never showed up for their own ghost tour! Myself and a group of about 10 other people waited for 45 minutes for the Ghosts of New Haven on 9/13/14 at Starbuck's. They have you fill out your name, address, email and phone number when registering for the tour. There is no excuse on how they could not contact you beforehand if there was an issue. They also never contacted me to apologize or try to make up for their negligence. I had to file a claim with Amazon Local to get a refund on the vouchers I paid for. I later saw a slew of negative reviews and another person stating a no show for a the tour. Thanks for having me waste my time, gas and have to pay $5 for parking for a ghost tour that never took place. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism.

I am surprised to see some negative reviews here for the ghost tour of New Haven. My group and I had a great time. Our guide, Chrystyne McGrath was an informative guide with a great story to tell at every turn. New Haven is a beautiful city and to learn about the buildings, history that happened within the buildings and ghostly encounters of others within the buildings was great. No one expected to "see" a ghost, they come out when they want to, not when we want them to. The Groupon deal for $ 12.00 is so well worth this great tour. Where can you get good entertainment for that price? This is a perfect time of year to take the tour, enjoy the city and get a little spooked by the spirit who loom around.
