Had an amazing tour with an amazing tour guide. Taylor was the perfect blend of fun and knowledge. I didn’t really know what to expect going into the tour, but learning about the different cemeteries, the burial process, the history of it all, and throw in some macabre humor, and it made the perfect tour. The weather was perfect, our group was on the smaller side (only six of us, plus our guide), and it was all in all a fantastic day.

Really sporadic coverage of topics and material, seemingly nearly no intimate knowledge of the cemeteries nor cultures in them. Guide kept asking if there were questions, but when people asked, he didn't know any answers. Guide seemed that he was intrigued by things like the Odd fellows, masons, w. o. w., etc, but could give no meaningful information whatsoever. Kept repeating about geography and how this location doesn't flood, and how this was all hard working Scottish and Irish who built the canals etc. His understanding of yellow fever and it's impacts were also spotty, and dates were random and verifiably incorrect on numerous recollections. He knew zero stories of anyone actually in the cemeteries except for a former policemen and his son, supposedly both killed by mafia. He knew seemingly nothing about catholicism nor did he really understand how the multiple types of burials actually work. We also stopped at a Jewish and Greek Orthodox cemetery, but he knew nothing about them (why did we stop there?) He also had an agenda about Katrina and the memorial wasn't honored, rather it was diminished because of the conspiracy theories he believes. Really weak tour, and we almost left multiple times. Really disappointed.
