Lower Garden District

The Garden District was known as the 19th Century American Sector of New Orleans. It's large opulent antebellum Homes were built for the famous and wealthy in the early 1800's and home to the several famous people today.

We did the French Quarter/Garden District tour on the first day of our trip. It was a great way to see a lot of the city and decide where we wanted to see more. Milan was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable about the history & architecture of the city and very personable. The bikes were comfortable and very easy to ride.
