Karen was our tour guide and is a multi-generation New Orleans native. Very informed and lots of history of the area's founding that I wasn't totally aware of. Karen also brought along visual items to show the extent of the river's reach and the various people she talked about. The tour was a good length and loved seeing and learning all about the architecture too of the French Quarter. Highly recommend this tour!

Thank you for your fantastic review and recommendation of The Savvy Native’s Unlike Any City In The World: French Quarter Tour and remarking on your guide Karen’s knowledge and presentation skills. All of The Savvy Native’s guides were either born in New Orleans or wish they had been. We are a group of experienced guides who write our own tours and your review helps us continue to do what we love. Hope you can join us again on one of our “over 20 different ways to see New Orleans” on your next trip to the city. Thank You Again!

My wife and i took this tour and it was a great way to start a trip to New Orleans. First off, our gide, Karen, was super nice and right off the bat, dropped some knowledge on us. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions, not that we had any since she was giving us some much history. You could tell her love of her city. At first, I thought she was a NY native but she was quick to explain that was the NO accent. She really couldn't have been nicer and more knowledgable. This was a great way to start a vacation here because she pointed out all the points of intrest was was invaluable in indicating where where should go to eat (the most important part!). I would recommend this tour (and have) to anyone. Please ask for Karen when booking your next walk tour.

Thank you for the great review! The Savvy Native works hard to give our guests a Historically Accurate, Entertaining and Memorable Tour. Karen, as are all our guides, is eager to answer questions and takes great delight in sharing what is uniquely ours. I’m sure she was all smiles when you asked her about her accent. New Orleanians are very proud of their accents. Karen mentioned this was your second trip to New Orleans and we hope we helped make it your best trip so far. Thank You Again! See you when you get back.
