I loved this part of New Orleans. The cemetery was fascinating. Our guide seemed most impressed with name dropping about the people who live or lived in the homes. The evening after the tour, we were watching NCIS, New Orleans and one of the homes we saw was used in a scene from the show. That was pretty cool to see.

Our tour guide Terry was great. She was a teacher on summer break so definitely very knowledgeable about the area we toured and even brought visual aids to explain the history. Super friendly as well with great suggestions for lunch.

My wife and I were pretty excited to do this tour, but were a little concerned that our 12 and 11 year old daughters would be disinterested. That was all put to rest by our tour guide who was a middle school teacher. She kept us all engaged and taught us all about the homes and cemetery.
