James was super friendly and very knowledge about the area. He had done his own research and took pride in discussing the Garden District. Just three in our group. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the great review and recommendation! These reviews are not only priceless for us as a form of word-of-mouth advertising, but a great tool for creating awesome tours in the future. The things you noted - friendliness, knowledge, pride in presenting the culture- are the comments we kept hearing in the beginning and what shaped our vision of what we wanted Lucky Bean Tours to be. We appreciate the fact that in a city with over 200 great tour companies, you chose us, and we are happy when you feel you made the best choice. Please come and tour with us again!

James is an awesome guide, and the Garden District tour was very interesting. We learned alot about local history. The tour moves along well but not too fast or too slow. Don't hesitate to hire James.

Isn't the Garden District lovely? There are several stories behind each elegant mansion, and we are so lucky to be able to walk with interested travelers like you and tell them - it is a dream job! Thank you for choosing Lucky Bean Tours and for taking the time to write a review. We hope you come walk with us again!

James was a great tour guide. Lots of info and good delivery. He was enthralled with some folks in our group who were of Cuban descent and he tied many of the stops to that heritage. Interesting to learn. It's not so much a garden tour as walking around discussing history of NOLA and noting famous peoples' homes. James was good at trying to draw in the kids in the group and was VERY patient answering questions.

I reached out to you by text when I read this review. Since less than one percent of our reviews get the "average" rating, we wanted to find out what went wrong, since by the words in the review you seemed to have had a wonderful time (I hate to see what rating a bad tour gets! ha ha!). If you want to contact me to discuss how we could have made it better, I would be more than happy to take a phone call. Anyway, it seems that many things went right. I'm happy that James made the Cuban connection to New Orleans (you're right - fascinating material) and that the kids were included and questions were answered. I hope your stay in our city was enchanting and that happy family memories were made. Please come again!
