We had a wonderful tour that actually went over by about 20 minutes because our guide just had so much interesting info to tell us! We would book with this company again anytime!

Among Lucky Bean guides, the biggest challenge when designing a tour is deciding which of the great stories to leave out! We love our city and the great tales it has to offer and we really want to share them with our guests. I am glad your guide took the extra time to share a few insights and stories with you and I am especially grateful to have the kind of guests who are interested enough to listen! Thanks for taking time to review!

I took the garden district tour with Libby. She purposely keeps the groups small. Libby is awesome. She was born and raised in NO and knows the history, culture and stories of the city. She is enthusiastic and funny, too. I wish I had booked more tours with her.

YOU are awesome! Thanks so much for the great review! I really love our small groups because the conversations really start to flow. Yes, I do know some good stories and I love to tell them, but the Garden District with its lush, elegant charm makes it a lot easier. I hope you get a chance to tour with me next time you're in town because I always want to be with people who get my jokes.

My daughter and I had a lovely, intimate Garden District walking tour with Suzanne (the other party was a no-show and we had her all to ourselves!). She is everything you'd want in a guide: knowledgeable, approachable, obviously steeped and engaged in the history and goings-on of the area. We were able to talk about all things New Orleans on the tour - her take on the history of New Orleans coffee was quite interesting (and humorous). And having her navigate Lafayette #1 with us was invaluable (I could see a few lost souls eavesdropping occasionally - unlike St. Louis #1, you don't need a guide to enter Lafayette but it sure is more interesting with one). One of the great memories of our NOLA trip!

Suzanne has a way of telling a story that conveys her own delight at learning the story herself for the first time- she never stops falling in love with and being delighted by New Orleans, and that happy wonder comes across on her tours. And she (literally) wrote the book on New Orleans coffee history! Please return and have a tour - and a cup of coffee - with us! Thank you for taking the time to review.
