I was 1 of 4 people chaperoning a group of 19 high school girls on the 8pm tour and our guide, Sean Byrd, made every effort to accommodate minors. He gave warnings for particularly gruesome stories, he made sure everyone got to take pictures at every stop. We stopped at a poboy shop for a bathroom break instead of a bar and took care when crossing Bourbon St. Sean was incredibly knowledgeable while still being relatable, funny, and respectful of the culture of the city and it’s history.

We enjoyed the NOLA history lesson with a twist. I have to admit we were all hoping it would have been a little more scarier.
