Our Haunted Pub Crawl of the French Quarter combines some of our most infamous haunted locations along with the most haunted bars in the country for a perfect blend of Spirited Spirits! Hear the stories of murders and crimes of passion of Old New Orleans while sampling some of our most unique adult beverages made famous by some of the most notorious characters in our history. This tour takes our participants off the beaten path and into the dark and hidden side of the city that never sleeps! The stories come alive as presented by our colorful guides.

We purchased tickets in advance for the 8:15 pub crawl on 4/23/19. I received more than one email in the days leading up to tour reminding me to print my ticket. When we arrive, the person who was checking in guests waved me away saying “those tickets don’t mean anything to me, I need to see your phone”. While I was looking for the information on my phone he continued to grumble about how tickets were above his pay grade. They were checking in for multiple tours so they herded us to a patch on the sidewalk. Our guide arrived, went over a basic set of rules and off we went at a sprinter’s pace. At first stop we are told our choice of 2 cocktails and stand at the bar for an eternity while guide sits at a table texting and ignoring our group. After drinks are served they announce for the first time that drinks are $12 each. By the time the bartender collects our money we look up and our tour is gone! The guide comes running back to bar mumbles a quick apology and waves us into a room where he has already started telling the stories. The second stop we ran to we were released to pick whatever beer we wanted. No recommendation, no mention of local brews. On our way to third stop nearly half of group loses sight of our guide because he had turned corner and didn’t wait for rest of group. Before going into 3rd stop he parks us over a really foul smelling sewer grate and when someone in the group says something rather than move he tells the group we won’t be long over the noxious gasses and tells us about 3 different cocktails at bar number 3. He leaves us for a moment and comes back and tells us bar number 3 is full so let’s just go next door. The bar next door is completely dead. We left tour at that point but since he had already lost us 2x I’m sure he didn’t notice.

Went with a group - the tour guide was not very good to be honest. There were too many of us in total meaning it took a long time to get served in the two bars we attended. Basically it was a lot of shouting and not very interesting stories. And more shouting. Everyone in the group really disliked it, sorry, I feel bad but that was one of the worst tours I've been on. Advice for tour operators: 1) Limit the total number of people allowed in each tour so people can get served at the pubs more quickly 2) employ more articulate guides who don't just shout their opinion at you - have someone with some better story telling experience or skills. As a paying customer I feel we're allowed to request this even though I imagine that feedback is hard to stomach.
