Took the Rhythm and Roots Music Tour on Christmas Eve morning with Dave. I was the only customer there so it turned out to be a private tour. Dave provided a lot of great information on jazz greats such as Buddy Bolden, Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, And Sidney Bechet, as well as early Rock and Roll pioneers like Fats Domino and Little Richard. Tour started in Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square and then proceeded to various parts of The French Quarter. Got to see many music venues and listen to a lot of cool music clips. Dave patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions. I could tell he really loves New Orleans music and culture. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting an entertaining informative overview of New Orleans music.
