We had a 2:45 tour with Emmett and it was an amazing time. We actually were booked in for the 9:30 tour but had an issue with our hire car and the company was super accommodating and moved us to a later time. In hindsight I’m glad we went on the later trip as going through the swamp as the sun set was beautiful. Emmett was full of knowledge and jokes and made sure we all had a great time. We did get to see some gators and even spied a couple of raccoons!

We had a terrific time on the swamp tour with Captain Sambo - he was hilarious and had an endless number of great stories. The bayou was stunning and peaceful, and we were lucky to see a few alligators! We ended up renting a car just for the day from the French Quarter, which seemed to be the cheapest way to get out to the site.
