As your carriage departs from Jackson Square, your driver/guide will regale you with stories of the city's founding as the carriage passes through the historic French Quarter street.

My boyfriend and I decided to do this staple New Orleans experience to finish out our trip! We went over to the line up of Carriages and found Matt and Patsy! We’re able to pay cash on the spot! Matt was so knowledgeable of the area and it was nice to hear other historical facts than any other tour we had done. What I really enjoyed was he was able to take us further outside of the quarter to places most tourists don’t walk to. He even shared with us a story about a place he lived and the haunted things that had happened there. It was enjoyable to go thru the neighborhood and wave at the locals on there porches! I would recommend this to anyone going to New Orleans!

We had our tour with Matt and Magnolia. They were great! We loved taking the carriage ride through the French Quarter and to streets that we would not have thought to walk down. Our guide had and in depth knowledge of the area and some very interesting stories of hauntings. We almost missed out on this experience due to the weather but I am glad we were able to fit it in. One of my favorite things I did in NOLA!

We did the haunted history tour as a last minute thing. But, it was well worth it. If you have already done a ton of walking for the day this was a excellent way to see more of the French Quarter and get a lot of amazing historical stories, many of which are ghost stories. Our driver was Jennifer and she was so knowledgeable about the history of the area.
