Being that there are only 8-passengers on-board the carriage, the mule-drawn adventure is more intimate and unforgettable. As your carriage departs from Jackson Square, your driver/guide will regale you with stories of the city's founding as the carriage passes through the historic French Quarter street.

KJ our carriage driver and guid was really informative and cheerful despite heavy traffic around the French Quarters. KJ told a lot of great ghost stories. We would go definitely back on this ride. Thank you Royal Carriages for a great spooky evening.

I’ve taken a French Quarter tour with this company in the past and it was wonderful. This trip I tried the late night History and Haunts tour with my teen daughter. The driver was a newer hire I believe she said & she was quite honestly awful. I’ve done haunted tours around The Quarter before so I know all the stops & stories, This driver was fine on the architectural history stories, but when it came to the haunted spots she seemed to embellish on already embellished tales in overly graphic detail. I was baffled by the approach. Quite frankly, I was ver6 happy when the tour was over. I had a great conversation with a different driver the next day, wish we had gotten him the night before.
