The carriage ride was fun but our guide was hard to hear and not very inthusiactic about his job, we saw others that seamed much better

We took an 8PM 1 hour haunted history tour. Ben & his mule Matilda were our guides. I was a little disappointed to learn Ben was from South Carolina as I would have preferred a guide that was native to the area. That being said Ben was OK, although being in the back row he was a little hard to hear at times & he tended to ramble a bit too much. More history, I think, than haunts. The main ghost story was about the La Laurie mansion. It seemed to take up half the tour. Ben got sidetracked a few times & by the time he got to the end of the story I'd half forgotten what the beginning was about. It was, however,a nice relaxing way to see the French Quarter. Sure beats walking.

The haunted carriage tour was a unique way to learn some of the history of the French Quarter. Our guide Nate, was knowledgeable, pleasant and engaging. A full hour on the carriage at a cost of $40 person.
