This is the second time we have taken this cruise. This time was just as good as it was in 2016. Jazz band playing while sailing up the Mississippi which just sets the mood for the ride. Would definitely recommend this trip if you are visiting Nee Orleans as itā€™s nice & relaxing

Nice boat, great commentary and good music. Didnā€™t have the meal - I suspect it wouldnā€™t add much to the experience as it was on a different deck from the band

This cruise was as described, I just didnā€™t find it that interesting. We went at lunchtime but did not get the food option (so canā€™t comment on the quality of the food), but that did allow us to get a seat on the rail. Recommend sitting near the front since the paddlewheel is at the rear and made it hard to hear the band or narration. If you book on TripAdvisor you have to go to the ticket booth near the boat dock to get your ā€œliveā€ tickets. You are advised to arrive at 11:00 for an 11:30 cruise, but if you do, there is already a huge line. If you get there earlier, you have to stand in line for 30+ minutes before you board the boat. Just not worth it.
