I was a little hesitant to do this tour because the reviews seemed all over the place, but we had a great time! We did the boat tour only (no lunch) on a weekday - not overly crowded, and we were able to move between levels easily with ample seating. Our tour guide was terrific - gave a lot of interesting history about buildings/regions visible from the boat, and the jazz band was a nice treat for the hour ride back to the dock. All in all a very pleasant experience, especially if you get lucky with sunny weather.

This is more of a "jazz on a boat" event than a tour. The tour narrator pointed out the various buildings we could see from the river but gave very little in the way of insights or history that you would get in a real tour. The jazz band was great. While it is nice to see the shoreline of the city, if you want to learn about the city, spend your money elsewhere.

Perhaps your impression was that the whole event would be narrated with the history of our city. And other guests want the music. We regret that our narration fell short of your expectations.
