New Orleans Steamboat Natchez Harbor Cruise

Overview

Please note, the boat boards at 11:00am and departs promptly at 11:30am. We offer two seating times for lunch - 11:00 and 12:15pm. If you select the first lunch seating, please arrive around 10:45am and go straight to the dining room when you board the vessel.

Overrated and overpriced for what you get. They donā€™t tell you ahead of time, but you must sit on the left side of the boat or you are on the wrong side for the commentary (like us) the ENTIRE trip. If you buy tickets online you MUST go to ticket office to get paper tickets. They donā€™t make this clear in the email and it can take quite a bit of extra time to wait in line while hundreds of people board ahead of you.

We do issue boarding passes at the ticket office and so we know who actually boarded the vessel. Very soon a new system will allow us to do it electronically.

We were one of many left standing to learn that our lunch cruise was cancelled. No email. No notice. And the lady at the window said it was cancelled two Weeks prior. Funny because they sure kept My money and never said a word. They still owe me $115.

We notify by email and/or text message in advance so our apology if it did not get to you. Your refund usually takes a few days on credit cards for bank processing.

Enjoyed the city view from river but seating was hard to come by. We were about middle of the pack boarding and could not find a seat. Arthritic knees are a problem and we had to stand until someone got up to go to their lunch and we were lucky to be in the right place at the time. Disappointed.
